Hello,
We are Kathleen and Stefaan, the inspirers of ZaligAanZee and ZaligInAntwerp. Together with our 3 daughters, we live in the North of Antwerp.
After 20 years of working at different companies in a variety of sectors, we chose a new adventure; Zalig!
We found the word “Zalig”, meaning blissful, the best word to describe that overwhelming holiday feeling. Because that is exactly what we offer each and one of our guests at ZaligAanZee and ZaligInAntwerpen : instant vacation!

After a great career in marketing and communications for big A-brands (LEGO, Ogilvy & Mather, Philips, IBM, Quick Restaurants), Kathleen changed hands after 20 years to combine all her expertise and her passion for interior design and travel. Inside Zalig, she works with great enthusiasm on the interior design. She is also responsible on a daily basis for the marketing, communication and rental of the vacation homes through www.zaligaanzee.be and www.zaliginantwerpen.be.
Kathleen is trained as a Bachelor in Applied Communication Sciences, an extra Bachelor in Marketing and is also a Certified Real Estate Agent : BIVnr 508402
Stefaan Van Dyck ( 1966 )
Through his career at various technology and consultancy companies and after initiating a number of start-ups, Stefaan is highly experienced as a business developer and entrepreneur.
Within Zalig, he works as a business developer and as a construction, technology and financial coordinator.
Stefaan holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Sciences, a Master’s degree in Applied Economics and attended a Vlerick Master Class in Innovation & Entrepreneurship.
